A Sport yak is an an inflatable kayak that can be paddled tandem or solo. It shares similar qualities to both a raft and kayak; it is paddled with kayak paddles, but is verystable and sat on like a raft.
If your looking for a fun day on the river, our Sport Yak program provides a safe, adventurous day on the water, with no prior paddle sports experience required!Jump in one of the Paddling School's Sport Yaks and paddle solo, with a partner, or with one of our certified Instructors/Safety Boaters. This half day includes all the neccessary equipment, guided instruction about whitewater and the use of your Sport Yak, as well as a certified safety kayaker present.
Suitable for ages 8 and up, and all experience levels
